Avicii waiting for love

Recently I stumbled over the music video for avicii's single give me love. This music video amazed me with the way they used technology to create something beautiful and so creative. The music video itself is very simplistic containing only few dancers performing in and around doors and their frames. But the thing that really caught my attention was the use of the technology and cameras. The music video is filled using a 360' camera, this means that it is also interactive and you can actually move your way around the video changing the angle to focus on different dancers. On your mobile phone you can simply move your phone around (left to right, up and down) to move the screen a bit like playing a video game. when watching on a computer you have to click arrows to move about as obviously it's not possible to move your computer screen about and the motions to be detected.

This music video is not only extremely creative and the first of what i can only imagine to be many more music videos using this type of camera. The music video is a great way of publicising the music, the creativity of the video makes people want to watch it and check it out for themselves, telling everyone they know about how cool it is. This then means that the more people watching the video the more people that will start to like the song and want to purchase the single.

I have embedded the video below...
Avicii actually has two completely different videos for this single, the other humours and touching a story about an elderly man waiting for love and trying to find his way back to his one love, who ironically he meets at an avicii concert. both of these help to pull in different audiences for different reasons, both working as effectively as each other.
