Our ideas are expressed quite similarly in this music video by Ellie Goulding called 'Goodness Gracious'. There is a strong theme on bright lights and colours, which is also what we are going for.
I noticed a shot of a girl wearing neon lipstick in a dark place, which is what we are going to do. The shots where the main artist is dancing with neon strips on her shoes is also an idea we had of doing in our video. There is not a strong narrative, just a concept of young friends living life and having a great time which is what we were going to do too.
This video 'Lights' by Ellie Goulding has lots of varied shots using lights and a dark background so there is not narrative. We can get some shot inspiration for our video in our scenes using a lot of lights.

These are screenshots from an A2 music video created last year. They created a solo pop artist. I like some of the effects and different shot ideas they had. There are hundreds of cuts in this video which makes it look interesting and professional.

In the video by Neon Jungle called Trouble it introduces the band by shining a moving spotlight over them individually. I like this idea and think we should use it in the beginning of our music video.

In the video 'How You Doin' by Little Mix there are split screen shots where there are close ups of all of the singers individually but put together in the same screen. We like this idea and want to do this in our video. By having each girl with a different background shows off our identity within the band.

We are taking inspiration from Little Mix's video 'Move' for our dancing shots where it is quite dark but with bring lights in the background so you get a silhouette effect. we think this looked impressive and professional.
In this video we liked the fast pace, quick cuts, use of lights. I noticed how the pace quickens towards the end of the video and I think this makes it successful. (This was also a piece of advice that Jake Wynn the music video director gave us). It is very fast but then ends on a longer shot which helps to end the video. I like how there are shots on top of other shots (e.g. blurred lights over the top).
