Over the course of the week we have decided that we are going to meet up and take photos, these are going to be used as promotional photos to help market and advertise our band. we are going to take a range of close up profile head shots, wide angle single shots and group shots. From these we will decide on one in which we will use for our Twitter, Instagram, and other social media pages profile pictures, from there we can then begin to blog tweet and post about what we are doing as a band to help keep the audience involved with us and to make sure that people are exited for the release for our first music video.
As we are a Pop girl group we have taken a lot of influence from Little mix, this is for many different reasons, one because of their individual images and they way that they present themselves, and another is that their target audience is very similar to ours.
We looked at taking individual head shots and lining them up in a square formation with the bottom right square taken up by our logo, we took inspiration for this from this little mix image...
We are going to go with the clothing theme of black and white, this is because the colours have the connotation of purity and darkness, they also give of the sense of power and that is the deal we wanted our band to give off.
We have looked at a few locations but the few we settled upon based on availability are a rustic brick wall and a greenscreen, the wall is going to be for our more edgy group photos and the greenscreen our individual powerful portraits.
We will also take some not so serious photos to go along side our pop image
